Foxleigh Mine is located 15km south of Middlemount and approx. 275km northwest of Rockhampton. The mine is in its 25th year of operation producing premium PCI metallurgical coal for use in steel manufacturing. About the Role:

Foxleigh Mine are transitioning to an owner-operated Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP). This strategic shift marks a major milestone for our site and offers a rare opportunity to be part of building a new internal team from the ground up.

We're looking for experienced and motivated CHPP Operator/Maintainers (Mechanical, Electrical or Non-Trade) to help us shape the future of our processing operations. This is more than just a role - it's a chance to help set the standard for reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Operate and monitor Foxleigh's CHPP to deliver consistent, high-quality PCI coal in line with production targets.
• Carry out inspections, preventative maintenance, and attend to minor breakdowns, using your skills and experience to be resourceful and keep the plant running reliably.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment across the CHPP, Train Loadout, and Yard, showing care and respect for your teammates, equipment, and the environment.
• Work closely with a tight-knit team to drive practical, site-specific improvements that enhance safety, performance, and efficiency.
• Adhere to site safety, health, and environmental standards.

We value team players with a strong safety mindset and experience in fixed plant operations. The following qualifications/competencies are desirable (with Statements of Attainment or site training reports):

• Electrical Fitter/Mechanic Licence (QLD)
• HV Switching competency
• Trade Qualification
• RIIPRO301D - Conduct crushing and screening plant operations
• RIIPRO302D - Perform processing control room operations
• RIISAM208D - Perform plant operational maintenance
• RIIWBP203D - Treat and dispose of rejects and tailings
• RIIMCP301D - Monitor coal preparation plant operations
