Church Property Coordinator

This is a job historically called “church sexton” that helps the congregation keep up with its property. Repairing simple repairs, managing vendors and inspections. Helping with setups.

Office Matters:

Schedule and keep track of regular inspections and Preventative Maintenance service. Maintain records of repairs and service calls/inspections. Oversee contractors for snow and landscaping.

Skillset:

Ability to handle light plumbing, electrical, and basic repairs. Also, the ability to know when to call in an expert.

Other Duties:

Regularly keeping an eye on the property to scan for problems, leaks, fixes.

Periodically set up tables, concert bells, holiday items and decorations. Ability to lift heavy items.

Reports to:

Church Council via pastor. Relates to volunteer property committee team members, and director of nursery school.

Hours range: 20 - 25 hours/week

Pay range: $20-22/hr

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
