Church Video Production Technician

Purpose Church is seeking a versatile and motivated Video & Media Production Technician to become a key player on our creative media team. This paid position is ideal for someone who is passionate about all aspects of video production—from live switching and camera operation to capturing content for social media and beyond. You will be crucial in creating a dynamic and engaging visual experience for both our in-person congregation and our growing online community. Responsibilities

• Live Production: Operate professional video cameras and serve as a technical director (TD) on the video switcher to produce our live Sunday broadcast.
• Setup & Breakdown: Assist with the setup, testing, and breakdown of all video production equipment, including cameras, switchers, and livestream encoders.
• Content Capture: Film high-quality b-roll and "social-ready" clips during services for use on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Audio Director and media team to ensure the visual production aligns with and enhances the worship experience.
• Equipment Stewardship: Help maintain and organize video equipment to ensure everything is service-ready.
• Creative Input: Contribute ideas for how to visually tell the story of Purpose Church.

Qualifications

• Experience with or a strong desire to learn live video production equipment (cameras, switchers, livestream software).
• An eye for compelling composition, framing, and visual storytelling.
• Self-motivated and able to manage tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; a collaborative spirit is essential.
• A heart for ministry and a desire to serve behind the scenes.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a professional attitude.

Commitment & Compensation

• This is a paid, part-time position.
• Primary Commitment: Sundays, 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM.
• Flexible Opportunities: Additional paid hours may be available for special events and projects.
