CIE PRIMARY TEACHER - MATH

The CIE Primary Math Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics instruction in alignment with the Cambridge International curriculum standards. The teacher will foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports the intellectual, social, and emotional development of young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Delivery:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective math lessons based on the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.
• Integrate mathematical concepts with real-life applications to enhance student understanding.
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

2. Assessment and Evaluation:

• Design and administer formative and summative assessments in line with CIE standards.
• Track and report student progress regularly to stakeholders.
• Prepare students for Cambridge Primary Checkpoint assessments.

3. Classroom Management:

• Create a positive and structured learning environment.
• Maintain discipline and ensure student safety and well-being.
• Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration among students.

4. Record Keeping and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and performance.
• Provide timely feedback to students and parents through formal and informal communication.

5. Professional Development:

• Participate in school-led and external professional training, workshops, and curriculum review sessions.
• Stay updated with best practices in international math education and CIE updates.

6. Parent Engagement:

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and development.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings and contribute to academic planning.

7. Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other grade-level teachers, subject coordinators, and school staff.
• Contribute to cross-curricular planning and school events.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
