Circulation Specialist

The Community Library Network at Hayden has a 28-hour Circulation Specialist position open. Work hours may include evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing library circulation activities including checking books in and out and shelving
• Assisting patrons with the use of library resources and technologies
• Providing technical, computer, and information systems support
• Adhering to library policies, procedures, and directives

This job requires strong customer service, communication, and computer skills. The successful applicant:

• Understands the principles and practices of providing professional library customer service
• Enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people
• Is comfortable with technology
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn
