The Cooperative Institute for Research in Environmental Sciences (CIRES) is seeking a Research Scientist to conduct research with a collaborative team toward enhancing ensemble coastal wave and water level predictions on seasonal timescales and exploring their use for coastal morphological prediction. The candidate will develop, test, and apply advanced dynamical and statistical methods that will be applicable for diagnosing predictability of coastal water level and morphological prediction applications. The project’s outputs will serve a diverse community of users, including fellow researchers in coastal environment forecasting communities and coastal resource decision-makers.
CIRES is an internationally recognized leader in innovative environmental science and research and is located at the University of Colorado Boulder.
