The Civil 3D (BIM Modeler) will be responsible for developing, updating, and managing detailed design models for infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, utilities, and site development. The role involves preparing 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk Civil 3D and BIM workflows, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage 3D models for roads, highways, utilities (wet & dry), grading, and earthworks using Civil 3D.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, plans, profiles, and cross-sections.
- Coordinate BIM models with other disciplines (structural, architectural, MEP).
- Support engineers in the preparation of design reports, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Apply BIM standards, naming conventions, and ensure data integrity within the project environment.
- Update and maintain models based on design changes and engineer feedback.
- Generate clash detection reports and coordinate with BIM coordinators to resolve conflicts.
- Ensure compliance with company QA/QC and authority requirements.
- Support in producing as-built models and drawings at project closeout.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Civil 3D drafting/modeling for infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D (mandatory) and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of BIM standards and workflows; experience with Navisworks or Revit is an advantage.
- Experience in preparing drawings and models for roads, highways, utilities, and site grading.
- Familiarity with international and local design standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate outputs under deadlines.
Key Skills:
