Civil 3D Draftsman - Architecture

Responsibilities

• Prepare 3D models, and BIM-compatible files for architectural and civil projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Draft site layouts, grading plans, road alignments, utility networks, and infrastructure drawings.
• Coordinate with architects and civil engineers to ensure drawings meet design intent and project specifications.
• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and detailed sections as required.
• Apply relevant codes, standards, and client requirements to drafting work.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and quality of drawings before submission.
• Maintain organized drawing logs, revisions, and document control.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve design conflicts and incorporate changes quickly.
• Support quantity take-offs and material schedules from drawings.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Drafting Technology.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Civil 3D Draftsman, preferably on architectural or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD Civil 3D
• AutoCAD (2D/3D)
• Knowledge of BIM workflows (Revit or Navisworks is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, site development, grading, and infrastructure layouts.
• Knowledge of local construction standards and regulations (QCS, international codes preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and civil drawings accurately.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
