Civil Assistant Technician

JOB PURPOSE:

The purpose of this position is to assist in the maintenance and repair of civil and arrangement assets, including performing basic

maintenance tasks, cleaning assets, and supporting technical areas. The role involves ensuring the availability of tools, materials,

and parts for repair activities while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Support and Assistance:

• Assist civil technicians with routine and corrective maintenance tasks, including metal works, tiles, raised floors, false

ceilings, welding machines, and water supply lines (HDPE, PVC).

• Prepare tools and equipment for repairs and maintenance activities.
• Help deliver and handle tools, materials, and parts to ensure the necessary components are available for maintenance

tasks.

Basic Maintenance:

• Perform repainting work on Line 3 stations, depots, and offices.
• Fix, replace, and adjust various assets, including tiles, walls, doors, and drainage systems, using appropriate tools and

equipment.

• Ensure maintenance tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
• Supervise service providers to ensure adherence to maintenance standards.

Documentation:

• Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including routine repairs and updates.

Safety:

• Follow safety protocols and assist in maintaining a safe working environment during all maintenance activities.

Learning and Development:

• Engage in training and development opportunities to advance skills and knowledge within the maintenance field.

Additional Duties:

• Undertake any other tasks or duties as assigned by senior technicians or supervisors.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good eyesight and normal color vision.
• Proficiency in Arabic (reading and writing) is essential.

Knowledge:

• General technical knowledge relevant to civil maintenance.
• Good communication skills for working within a team.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to assist with maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes.
• Familiarity with tools, appliances, and devices used in civil maintenance.

Experience:

• 0-3 years of relevant experience in civil maintenance and arrangement support.
