Civil CAD & Site Engineer

The Civil CAD and Site Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed civil drawings using AutoCAD software and ensuring proper execution of these designs on-site. This role requires strong drafting skills, practical knowledge of civil construction, and the ability to coordinate between the design office and project site.

1. CAD Designing & Drafting

• Prepare detailed 2D drawings for civil structures ( foundations, dewatering points, drainage, site layouts, etc.).
• Develop structural, and service-related drawings as per project requirement.
• Update and revise drawings based on site feedback and engineer instructions.
• Maintain drawing standards, layers, dimension styles, and documentation.

2. Site Execution Support

• Execute civil works on-site as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams, contractors, and supervisors.
• Verify measurements, levels, shuttering, reinforcement, and finishing works.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure design compliance and quality standards.

3. Coordination

• Coordinate with structural engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Resolve drawing–execution conflicts through design corrections or site adjustments.
• Assist in material estimation, BOQ preparation, and planning.
• Attend project meetings and provide daily/weekly progress updates.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, STAAD, or other civil design tools (added advantage).
• Strong understanding of civil construction practices, materials, and detailing.
• Ability to read and understand architectural & structural drawings.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in both drawings and site execution.

Qualification

• Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil Engineering.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
