Urgent hiring for Civil Design Engineer – T&D Transmission Line

Experience:- 7-14 years

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Civil or higher

Job Location:- Noida, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, Vadodara

Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of feasibility reports and design basis reports for EHV Transmission line and distribution network projects.

Preparation of technical specifications, equipment sizing calculations and layout drawings.

Review of design analysis and detailed construction drawings, Vendor document reviews, Witnessing factor acceptance tests.

Managing the entire projects on Technical, Schedule and Cost. Coordinate with all project stakeholders.

Key Skills Required: Familiar with EHV Transmission Lines and Substation Configurations and able to choose the right configuration / technology and ratings of equipment’s specific to project requirements.

Knowledge on Transmission line Route survey and modern survey techniques,Knowledge on standards such as IS, IEC, IEEE, BIS related to Electrical equipment’s and CEA guidelines.

Knowledge on equipment and project costing ( Both Capex and Opex)

Able to manage the T&D Project independently in the role of Project Lead Engineer / Project Manager.

Knowledge on EHV cables will have added advantage.

Technical Competencies:

Line Design: Performing Sag tension calculation, Preparing Tower spotting profile in PLS CADD software.

Conductor sizing and selection, Transmission line design clearances.

Selection of Insulators and hardware etc. Preparing Bill of Quantities and Cost estimation.

Preparation of Technical specification. Transmission Line Tower Design Tower Loading calculation.

Tower structure Modelling and analysis in PLS TOWER, PLS POLE software etc.

Design of various types of tower like Lattice structure, monopoles erc.

Design of Transmission line Foundation, Design of Special towers and pile foundation.

Preparation of General arrangement drawings for Tower and foundation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,003,168.02 - ₹1,753,285.89 per year

Experience:

• EHV Cables: 5 years (Preferred)
• Line Design: 7 years (Preferred)
• Transmission Line Tower Design: 7 years (Preferred)
