HVAC Project Engineer

Job description:

We are seeking for a dynamic HVAC Project Engineer, to join our team. As a fresh graduate, or experienced this role provides an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the HVAC industry by contributing to the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems across a variety of projects, guided by senior engineers and gain hands-on experience. Key role in ensuring that HVAC systems are efficient, cost-effective, and meet client requirements, all while adhering to industry standards and building codes.

Key Responsibilities:

 Site Management & Execution: Oversee HVAC work on-site, ensuring timely and quality execution as per approved specifications, drawings, and method statements. Handle quantity take-offs for all HVAC works and ensure the work aligns with project scope.

 Material & Procurement Management: Plan and manage material and manpower requirements to meet project schedule. Coordinate with the procurement department for timely material deliveries and follow up on outstanding orders. Prepare and submit material and method statements.

 Quality Control & Inspections: Submit inspection reports after verifying work completion according to project specifications. Attend site meetings with consultants for inspections and approvals. Ensure compliance with safety standards during site inspections and meetings with clients.

 Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with the main contractor and other trades (civil, electrical, etc.) for smooth project execution. Raise and resolve RFIs (Requests for Information) and ECRs (Engineering Change Requests) as necessary. Ensure effective communication regarding project progress with the project manager, consultants, and client.

 Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and submit weekly progress reports, highlighting potential delays or issues affecting progress. Maintain and submit logs for materials, RFIs, ECRs, and other documentation related to project work. Prepare and submit back charges for any damage or discrepancies affecting project costs.

 Commissioning & Troubleshooting: Assist with testing, commissioning, and start-up of HVAC systems, ensuring systems are installed and functioning properly. Work on troubleshooting and resolving issues during installation and commissioning stages.

Required Skills:

 Educational Background: B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or HVAC Engineering. (Any basic certifications or training in HVAC)

 Technical Skills: HVAC System Execution & Supervision Department Coordination HVAC Design & Performance Project Management Tools Quality Control & Compliance

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
