Civil Draftsman

DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for CIVIL DRAFTSMAN in Doha, Qatar

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Civil Draftsman in roads and infrastructure projects.
• Expertise in AutoCAD and Civil 3D drafting tools.
• Strong knowledge of wet utilities (stormwater, sewerage, water, TSE) layout and detailing.
• In-depth familiarity with Ashghal and QE drafting standards and documentation practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and survey data.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or related technical field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare civil engineering drawings, including general layouts, detailed sections, profiles, and cross-sections for roads and utility networks (stormwater, foul sewer, potable water, TSE, etc.).
• Develop and update drawings in compliance with Ashghal/QE standards, project specifications, and engineering inputs.
• Coordinate with engineers and other draftsmen to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
• Revise drawings based on markups, redlines, and design modifications.
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and documentation.
• Ensure drawings are stored and maintained according to the company’s documentation control procedures.
• Support the design team with quantity take-offs and technical documentation when required.
• Collaborate with the site team to resolve any discrepancies between design and site conditions.
