Civil Draftsman

Position: Civil Draftsman
Status: Freelancer
Location: Doha, Qatar (Must have a valid Qatar ID)
Duration: 6 months, extendable
Availability: Immediate start

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction of Building
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of civil and construction practices.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings for civil and infrastructure systems.
• Interpret and convert engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations into accurate drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Revise and update drawings based on site conditions, design changes, and consultant comments.
• Maintain drawing records, revisions, and proper documentation for submission.
• Assist in preparing material take-offs, BOQs, and schematic diagrams.
• Provide drafting support to site teams and engineers during construction.
