Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and plans for civil engineering projects, including buildings, drainage works.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related drafting software
• Develop layouts, sections, elevations, and site plans as per engineering specifications
• Coordinate with civil engineers and project managers to interpret design requirements
• Revise drawings based on design changes and site feedback
• Ensure drawings comply with local building codes, standards, and regulations
• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions
• Assist in quantity take-offs and basic calculations when required
• Support site teams with updated drawings and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Certification in Civil Drafting or Civil Engineering
• Proven experience as a Civil Draftsman/Draftswoman
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of civil construction drawings and detailing
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications
• Good attention to detail and time management skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in infrastructure and building projects
• Knowledge of local authority regulations and submission drawings
• Basic knowledge of BOQs and material estimation
• Strong communication and coordination skills

Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month
