Job Title: Civil Draftsman/Draftswoman

Introduction: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Draftsman/Draftswoman to join our team of professionals. As a Civil Draftsman/Draftswoman, you will play a crucial role in translating engineering designs and plans into technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your precision and ability to interpret complex specifications will contribute directly to the successful execution of various civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret rough sketches, drawings, and specifications created by engineers and architects.
• Prepare detailed drawings of civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, pipelines, and utilities.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to resolve design issues and discrepancies.
• Modify and revise drawings as necessary to correct errors and accommodate design changes.
• Calculate dimensions, quantities, and materials needed for construction projects.
• Create and maintain a library of drawings, drafts, and designs.
• Assist in estimating project costs and preparing project documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Civil Draftsman/Draftswoman or similar role in the civil engineering field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time
