Fitout Drafmen or CAD Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Fit-out Draftsman with experience in preparing technical drawings and shop drawings for interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software, with a strong understanding of joinery, ceiling layouts, partitions, wall finishes, flooring, and furniture detailing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software based on sketches, specifications, and engineering data.

• Assist in the development of shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.

• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other team members to clarify design details and resolve conflicts.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date drawing files and documentation.

• Support the team in preparing BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material schedules, if required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field.

• Minimum 4-8 years of hands-on experience in preparing technical drawings and shop drawings for interior fit-out projects

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software (e.g., Revit, MicroStation, SolidWorks depending on industry).

• Understanding of construction methods, building codes, and technical standards.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 4-8 years of hands-on experience
