Civil Engineer

Job description:

Main Duties:

• Building Maintenance:
• Check and maintain the hospital building, walls, floors, and roof.
• Fix any damage like cracks, water leakage, etc.
• Construction Work:
• Supervise any new building work or renovation inside the hospital.
• Work with contractors and suppliers.
• Plumbing & Drainage:
• Look after the plumbing system (water, drainage, pipelines).
• Fix water leakages and drainage blockages.
• Safety Checks:
• Make sure the building is safe and meets hospital standards.
• Take quick action during emergencies.
• Material & Labour:
• Arrange building materials when needed.
• Manage workers doing repair or construction work.
• Reports & Records:
• Keep records of repair work done.
• Report to management regularly.

Qualifications Needed:

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 3 to 5 years of experience (hospital experience preferred)
• Basic knowledge of construction tools/software (AutoCAD, MS Excel)

Skills Required:

• Good knowledge of building maintenance
• Able to handle problems quickly
• Good communication and planning skills
• Team coordination
