CIVIL ENGINEER

We are looking for Civil Engineer to execute the civil works of power transmission projects 132kV/220kV/400kV , particularly in substation.

Key responsibilities

• Project management: Overseeing day-to-day civil activities, coordinating with consultants/Client and sub-contractors, and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.
• Compliance and standards: Ensuring all civil works comply with TAQA/Transco standards and regulatory requirements.
• Permits and inspections: Applying for and managing work permits, inspections, and site coordination.
• Documentation: Preparing and reviewing submittals, reports, and other project documentation.

Required qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years in the UAE construction industry.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in power transmission projects, with Transco/TAQA experience preferred.
• Experience with civil works in substations is preferred.
• Competencies and licenses:
• Must hold a TAQA Transmission Civil Competency approval.
• A valid UAE driver's license
• Experience with ADM (Abu Dhabi Municipality) or other relevant licenses is often a plus.
