Civil Engineer - FitOut - Arabic Speakers

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Civil Engineer (Fit-Out) with strong experience in contracting and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of preparing BOQs, handling tendering and estimation tasks, and managing material pricing with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and update Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for fit-out and civil works.
• Participate in tendering, estimation, and cost analysis for new and ongoing projects.
• Conduct material take-offs, pricing, and vendor evaluations in coordination with procurement.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure technical and commercial alignment.
• Monitor site progress and ensure compliance with project timelines, quality, and specifications.
• Prepare and review technical and commercial submissions for tenders and quotations.
• Support project teams in preparing variation orders and cost control documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with a contracting or fit-out company in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven experience in tendering, BOQ preparation, estimation, and material pricing.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out and finishing materials, methods, and local market rates.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and quantity take-off software.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
