Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure, buildings, and construction projects, with proven experience in design, execution, and project management. You will be responsible for supervising construction activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and oversee civil engineering projects, including roads, buildings, drainage, and utilities.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, technical reports, and method statements.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth execution.
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support throughout project lifecycle.
• Ensure all activities align with regulatory requirements, health & safety policies, and sustainability goals.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and site staff.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with at least 5 years in the UAE/GCC preferred.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is mandatory.
• Proven experience in infrastructure, structural, or mixed-use construction projects.
• Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, Primavera/MS Project, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of UAE/local authority regulations (e.g., DM, ADM, DDA, RTA, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as PMP or membership with professional bodies (e.g., SOE, ICE) are advantageous.
