Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

Civil engineer is responsible to supervise a huge range of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion. Work in a fast-growing dynamic industry, contribute towards healthy economies and make a lasting positive impact to society.

Job Accountabilities:

· Supervise and maintain construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner.

· Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)

· Assisting in carrying out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications

· Assisting in assessing potential risks, materials and costs

· Supervising the site & raising issues to Sr. Engineer with creative ideas to resolve it.

· Recommend and evaluate contractors’ procedures and practices to improve operational efficiency and for alternatives to enhance performance.

· Handle over the resulting structures and services for use.

· Reviewing contract documents including drawing specifications to assure the implementation on contract.

· Monitor progress and compile reports in project status.

· Assist in managing budget and purchase equipment/materials.

· Attend project review meetings to evaluate progress of on-going construction or maintenance activities.

· Monitor and supervise the operation of installed computerized asset management system for infrastructure.

· Co-operate with Safety and QA/QC.

· Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.

· Report technically and financially regarding planning and overall progress of approved plans.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• 7 to 10 year of experience
• Ashghal /PWA experience
• Experience with consultancy companies
