Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer for the construction of a Back Regulator / Hydraulic Structure project in Noida. The candidate must possess strong technical expertise in hydraulic and RCC structures, site execution, and detailed measurement work.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage construction activities related to back regulator, sluice gates, piers, abutments, foundations, and allied RCC works.
• Interpret and execute work as per approved drawings, structural details, bar bending schedules (BBS), and specifications.
• Carry out detailed measurements of civil structures including excavation, PCC, RCC, shuttering, reinforcement, and structural steel works.
• Prepare and verify measurement books (MBs), RA bills, and final bills with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with design drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, consultants, and client representatives for approvals and inspections.
• Monitor site progress, material consumption, and manpower deployment.
• Ensure proper execution of hydraulic components, including gate grooves, embedment parts, and alignment tolerances.
• Implement safety practices and ensure adherence to statutory and site safety norms.
• Assist in resolving site-related technical issues and proposing corrective measures.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of hydraulic structures, regulators, barrages, canals, and drainage works.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting civil and structural drawings.
• Hands-on experience in quantity measurement and billing.
• Good knowledge of RCC design concepts, shuttering systems, and reinforcement detailing.
• Familiarity with IS codes and standard construction practices.
• Ability to independently handle site execution and reporting.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in irrigation, flood control, or water resource projects.
• Experience working on government or authority-led infrastructure projects.
