Job Summary:

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all civil works, infrastructure development, maintenance, and safety compliance within the school campus. The role includes planning, supervising construction activities, managing vendors, and ensuring that all structural and maintenance works are executed efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:1. Infrastructure & Construction Management

  • Plan, supervise, and execute new construction and renovation works within the campus.
  • Monitor structural works including classrooms, labs, auditorium, playground, compound wall, etc.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to approved drawings and specifications.

2. Maintenance & Repairs

  • Oversee routine maintenance of buildings, drainage systems, plumbing, roofing, flooring, and roads.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify repair and safety issues.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.

3. Vendor & Contractor Management

  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, and consultants.
  • Verify bills, measurements, and work completion reports.
  • Ensure work completion within timelines and budget.

4. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all civil works comply with local municipal and safety regulations.
  • Maintain structural safety standards as per educational board norms (CBSE/State Board requirements).
  • Support in fire safety and disaster management compliance.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain records of drawings, approvals, contracts, and maintenance logs.
  • Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and project reports.
  • Submit regular progress reports to management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
