Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with 3-5 years of expertise in villa construction, specifically within the Dubai market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects with a focus on proper supervision and quality control, ensuring that all work meets established standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Oversight: Provide hands-on supervision of construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures throughout the construction process, conducting regular inspections and addressing any deviations from project specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and ensure project goals are achieved.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with Dubai’s building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Progress Reporting: Prepare detailed progress reports and updates for stakeholders, highlighting any challenges and proposed solutions.
• Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise during construction, ensuring minimal disruption to project timelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in villa construction, preferably with a focus on projects in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of local construction codes and practices.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Primavera).
• Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

• Primarily office-based, with frequent site visits to oversee construction progress and ensure quality control.
• May require occasional travel for client meetings or project assessments.
