Civil Engineer

House of Consulting Office for Consulting Engineers Co. (HCO) is a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering firm based in Saudi Arabia. HCO employs a diverse range of architectural, engineering, planning, and consultancy professionals, allowing them to offer a "one-stop solution" for their clients' project needs throughout the entire lifecycle. HCO works on a wide range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, retail, and healthcare.

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team for a project in Riyadh . The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supervising construction site activities for large-scale projects, with solid knowledge of site management, drawing review, quality control, and compliance with Saudi regulations.

• Supervise and monitor construction site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards
• Review shop drawings and project specifications, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or conflicts with design documents
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to address design and construction-related issues
• Approve materials and equipment to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Review project execution plans to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify safety hazards, construction issues, and quality concerns
• Provide technical guidance and support to construction teams, including clarification of specifications and installation procedures
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress updates, change orders, and documentation
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including implementation of safety protocols and incident reporting
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in site engineering or construction management, including at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
