Civil Engineer

Rawafid is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Civil Engineer to lead and support our civil engineering projects from conceptual design through construction completion. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role in planning, designing, and overseeing complex infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet technical standards, budget requirements, and schedules. Your leadership and expert knowledge will guide multidisciplinary teams and provide mentoring to junior engineers. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to overall plant layout and site arrangement to ensure optimal space utilization and constructability
• Develop civil design guidelines, criteria, and engineering standards for project execution
• Design and route underground utilities including drainage, sewer, potable water, and firewater systems
• Prepare site grading and earthwork designs in coordination with geotechnical data
• Design road networks, access ways, and hardstanding areas within the plant site
• Develop stormwater management systems and site drainage solutions
• Prepare foundation location plans in coordination with structural requirements
• Design cable trenches and duct bank routing for electrical and communication systems
• Develop fencing, boundary layouts, and site security arrangements
• Plan construction laydown and temporary facility areas
• Coordinate with structural, electrical, and piping disciplines for integrated below-ground routing
• Review and incorporate geotechnical survey data into civil design development
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant civil engineering standards
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 10 years of relevant experience in Civil engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial projects within KSA coastal environments, including site layout, grading, drainage, and underground utilities design for desalination or industrial plants
• Must be registered and certified with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Building Code, local municipality requirements
• Proven expertise with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and client management abilities
