Finishing Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

CANDIDATES WHO HAS EXPERIENCE IN CIVIL FINISHING WORK CAN APPLY PLEASE.

We are hiring a Civil Finishing Engineer who can oversees the final stages of construction, specializing in interior/exterior fit-outs, tiling, painting, plastering, and façade works. They ensure high-quality finishes, manage subcontractors, interpret technical drawings, ensure safety compliance, and align project completion with schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision: Supervise daily finishing activities including tiling, painting, ceiling, marble, and carpentry work.
• Quality Control (QA/QC): Inspect work to meet technical specifications and high-end project standards.
• Technical Coordination: Review structural drawings, shop drawings, and materials submittals.
• Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors to maintain productivity and ensure quality workmanship.
• Reporting: Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and identify potential bottlenecks to keep projects on schedule.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all finishing activities comply with Health and Safety (HSE) standards.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in finishing, fit-out, or renovation projects, preferably in the Gulf region.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, reading technical drawings, and knowledge of building materials.
• Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
