Project Engineer-Finishing Experience

Job Title: Project Engineer – Finishing (High-Rise Buildings)

Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience Required: 5 to 8 years (UAE experience mandatory)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Finishing to oversee and manage all finishing works for high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, site coordination skills, and proven experience in delivering high-quality finishing works within project timelines and budgets in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all finishing activities including:
• Plastering, tiling, painting, gypsum works, joinery, façade finishing, and fit-out works
• Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams for smooth execution
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports
• Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control procedures are implemented
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to finishing works
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements
• Coordinate with procurement team for timely material delivery
• Support project manager in planning, scheduling, and cost control
• Ensure timely completion of snagging and de-snagging activities
• Attend project meetings with clients and consultants

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finishing works for high-rise building projects in the UAE
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, methods, and quality standards
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality and local authority regulations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools
