Civil Engineer

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage civil works on site including foundations, structural elements, drainage, and finishing
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs to guide site execution
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and the project manager to maintain construction schedules
• Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all work meets project specifications and safety standards
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and submit them to the project manager
• Monitor material procurement and usage on site to control waste and cost overruns
• Identify and escalate site issues, design conflicts, or RFIs to the relevant parties in a timely manner
• Ensure full compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations, HSE requirements, and client standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline
• 3 to 7 years of site experience in building construction projects, preferably in the UAE
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; familiarity with MS Project or Primavera is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and UAE building codes
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
• Valid UAE driving license preferred
• Must be available to work on active construction sites across Dubai
