Civil Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee construction projects, obtain regulatory approvals, coordinate with government authorities, prepare project estimates, and ensure timely completion of projects. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Al Ain Municipality regulations, permit approval processes, project planning, and construction management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise construction projects from planning to completion.
• Coordinate with Al Ain Municipality and other relevant authorities for approvals and permits.
• Prepare and submit drawings, documents, and applications through the relevant online approval systems.
• Handle MAP and FEB (Federal Electricity & Water Authority/related authority) approval processes and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for compliance and project requirements.
• Prepare material quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
• Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government departments.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, health and safety standards, and municipality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
• Resolve technical issues arising during project execution.
• Track project milestones and ensure adherence to agreed timelines and deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and approved by Al Ain Municiplaity
• Minimum 6–7 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of Al Ain Municipality regulations and approval procedures.
• Experience in obtaining approvals through municipality and government portals.
• Knowledge of MAP, FEWA/authority approval procedures, and related documentation requirements.
• Ability to prepare BOQs, material estimates, and project cost calculations.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Excellent project planning and time management skills.
• Ability to manage project timelines and meet strict deadlines.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Valid UAE Driving License preferred.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
