Job Description – Civil Engineer (Construction Projects)

Position :Civil Engineer

Location:Abu Dhabi, UAE

Employment Type:Full-Time

Salary:AED 6,000 – AED 8,000 per month

Reporting To:Line Manager / Project Manager

Experience Required:4–5 years of relevant experience in construction projects.

Immediate Joiners:Preferred

• Valid Abu Dhabi Municipality Registration/License is mandatory.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Valid Abu Dhabi Municipality Registration/License is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Engineer.
• Experience in obtaining approvals from Abu Dhabi authorities.
• Hands-on experience in submitting documents through Abu Dhabi Government portals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering software.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project and Primavera.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and blueprints.

Key ResponsibilitiesEngineering and Design

• Prepare detailed structural and infrastructure designs for construction projects.
• Perform engineering calculations related to loads, materials, and structural integrity.
• Conduct site assessments and provide technical recommendations.

Project Planning and Execution

• Plan and execute construction projects while ensuring compliance with specifications, schedules, and budgets.
• Develop project schedules, resource allocation plans, and construction timelines.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth project execution.

Site Management and Quality Control

• Monitor labor, materials, and equipment utilization.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Implement quality control procedures and ensure completed work meets the required standards and specifications.

Coordination and Approvals

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
• Obtain necessary approvals from Abu Dhabi authorities and manage document submissions through the relevant portals.

Cost Control and Documentation

• Assist in preparing project cost estimates and monitor expenditures.
• Maintain records of project progress, design revisions, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare reports and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.

Physical Requirements

• Willingness to work on-site under varying conditions.
• Ability to walk on uneven terrain and climb ladders or scaffolding when required.

Compensation

AED 6,000 – AED 8,000 per month

Preference

Candidates possessing a valid Abu Dhabi Government Civil Engineer License and available for immediate joining will be given priority.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
