CIVIL ENGINEER ( BUILDING CONSTRUCTION)

Job Purpose

The Civil Engineer is responsible for executing, supervising, and monitoring civil and structural works at the project site. The role ensures that all construction activities comply with project specifications, QCS standards, and approved drawings.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise day-to-day site activities including concrete works, blockwork, plastering, and finishing. Review and interpret drawings, project specifications, and method statements.
Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards. Prepare and maintain daily site reports, progress logs, and documentation.
Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, and site teams to ensure timely execution. Ensure all work complies with QCS standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
Assist in implementing QA/QC procedures and conducting inspections. Report site issues, progress updates, and technical concerns to the Project Manager/Engineer.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Minimum 2 years of Gulf experience in building construction projects.
Strong knowledge of site execution standards, civil works, and construction materials. Ability to read and understand drawings and technical documents.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site tasks.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
