Job Description

Vortexen Dynamics Industrial Solutions is looking for a Civil Engineer with experience in coating works for construction, industrial, and passive fire protection projects in Dubai.

The candidate will be responsible for site supervision, surface preparation monitoring, coating application coordination, inspection support, documentation, manpower coordination, and project progress reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise coating and protective coating works at project sites.
• Coordinate with main contractors, consultants, QA/QC teams, and site workers.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and coating procedures.
• Monitor surface preparation, primer application, coating thickness, curing, and finishing works.
• Ensure coating works are completed as per approved specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare daily site progress reports with photos.
• Coordinate material requirements, manpower allocation, and work-front availability.
• Support QA/QC inspection, coating inspection requests, and consultant/client approvals.
• Check DFT/WFT requirements, surface cleanliness, adhesion, repair works, and final finishing.
• Maintain site documentation, inspection records, and project tracker sheets.
• Report site issues, delays, variations, and material shortages to management.
• Ensure proper safety practices during coating application works.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction or industrial coating works.
• Experience in protective coating, waterproofing coating, fireproofing coating, or passive fire protection coating is preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of surface preparation, coating application, DFT/WFT checking, and QA/QC procedures.
• UAE project experience preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
