Civil Engineer : Commercial

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer to oversee and execute construction projects from planning to completion. The role involves ensuring structural integrity, compliance with design specifications, timely execution, and cost-effective resource management.

Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution:

• Study and interpret structural and architectural drawings and specifications.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Supervise site activities to ensure project progress as per plan and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site workers.

Site Supervision & Quality Control:

• Monitor site work to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure they meet project specifications.
• Conduct quality checks and prepare reports.

Measurement & Billing:

• Maintain daily work reports, labor reports, and material consumption logs.
• Take measurements on-site and assist in preparing contractor bills.
• Verify vendor bills against actual site work.

Vendor & Resource Coordination:

• Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations at the site.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for workers.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and construction techniques.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (IS codes, NBC, etc.).

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 2–6 years of experience in site execution, supervision, or project coordination.
• Experience in [residential / commercial / industrial / infrastructure] projects is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
