Civil Engineer cum Quantity surveyor

Responsibilities of Civil Engineer cum Quantity Surveyor1. Project Planning & Site Execution

• Supervise and monitor site works to ensure quality, safety, and timely progress.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and consultants for smooth execution.
• Ensure works are carried out as per drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.

2. Quantity Surveying & Estimation

• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates for projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
• Prepare material requirement sheets and assist in procurement planning.
• Evaluate contractor/vendor quotations and negotiate rates.
• Keep track of variations and prepare revised estimates when required.

3. Cost Control & Budget Management

• Monitor project costs against budget and highlight discrepancies.
• Certify contractor bills and ensure accuracy of work measurements.
• Maintain records of project expenses, claims, and payments.
• Support management in financial forecasting for ongoing projects.

4. Contracts & Documentation

• Assist in drafting tender documents, specifications, and contracts.
• Review and verify contractual claims by contractors.
• Maintain all site-related documents including drawings, estimates, and approvals.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with design team for clarifications and modifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors for timely delivery of materials.
• Communicate effectively with management on project progress, costs, and issues.

6. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with IS codes, building standards, and safety regulations.
• Check quality of construction materials and workmanship.
• Resolve technical issues on-site and provide corrective solutions.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
