Civil Engineer (G+1 Licensed)

INTL ALBAB Engineering & Contracting L.L.C. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of UAE experience, possess knowledge of G+1 building construction, and be familiar with engineering drawings, authority submissions, and site coordination. Female candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural, structural, and civil engineering drawings.
• Manage submissions and approvals with Dubai authorities, including Dubai Municipality (DM), DDA, Trakhees, Nakheel, Dubai South, and other relevant authorities.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders to ensure timely approvals.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and local regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical reports.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers and other disciplines for smooth project execution.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and assist with project documentation when required.
• Support project completion, inspections, and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant UAE experience.
• Experience with G+1 building projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices and authority approval procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of project documentation and engineering standards.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
