Momentum Civil is seeking a civil engineer-in-training to join our team. This is an opportunity to join a successful, authentic, and exciting firm led by seasoned professionals that offers civil engineering and land use planning services to a broad range of clients and project types. Our office is located in the financial district of downtown Tacoma—a vibrant, walkable area of the city with convenient access and public transportation options (both streetcar station and bus located on the same block as our office!). Our office building boasts a new on-site gym for employees and beautifully renovated common areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
• Excellent written communication skills
• Microsoft Word, Excel skills
• Passing score on Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Test
• Internship experience preferred (not required)
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
• Bluebeam Revu experience
• Stormwater modeling using WWHM and other software experience preferred (not required)

Typical Job Tasks:

• Project research related to pertinent regulatory requirements, existing utilities, and reports prepared by other consultants
• Design of site plans, site grading, water, sewer, storm drainage systems within the Civil3D environment
• Preparation of design calculations and reports
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, municipalities, and regulatory agencies

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
