Civil Engineer (Infrastructure / Ashghal Projects)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with strong expertise in Ashghal infrastructure projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in stormwater networks, wet utilities, and large-scale infrastructure works, ensuring projects are executed in compliance with Ashghal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage site execution of infrastructure works including stormwater drainage, sewage networks, and roadworks
• Coordinate daily construction activities with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with Ashghal specifications and project requirements
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accurate execution
• Monitor project progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, and ensure timely completion of works
• Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures and ensure compliance with HSE standards
• Conduct site inspections, material approvals, and testing in coordination with consultants
• Identify and resolve technical issues on-site efficiently
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with project standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in infrastructure projects (preferably in Qatar)
• Strong experience in Ashghal projects (mandatory/preferred)
• Proven expertise in stormwater, drainage, sewage, and wet utilities
• Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures and HSE regulations
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage)
• Valid QID with transferable visa (preferred)
• Driving license in Qatar is an added advantage
