SOCOTEC ARABIA, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services with a presence in over 25 countries, is expanding its operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a skilled and driven Civil Engineer to join our Technical Inspection team. This role focuses on site supervision, design and documentation review, and coordination of high-profile compliance and inspection projects across the Kingdom. Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Supervise and coordinate civil works related to technical inspection tasks.
Review design drawings, material submittals, and as-built documentation.
Support senior engineers in quality inspections, quantity take-offs, and compliance checks.
Attend site meetings and contribute to progress reports.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
Perform civil engineering tasks as required by project leads and management.
Participate in relevant training sessions and workshops.
Work across different project locations in the Kingdom as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Active membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably within IDI projects.
Solid understanding of the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Proactive attitude with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development.
Willingness to travel and relocate within the Kingdom as project needs require.
