Civil Engineer — Solar/PV / Substation (KSA)

Job Description

We need a Civil Engineer with proven experience in Solar PV or Substation civil works for our project in Saudi Arabia. The candidate will handle site preparation, foundations, structural works, and ensure timely delivery of civil scope.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction of equipment foundations, inverter pads, transformer yards, cable trenches, culverts, and control building
• Review civil drawings, method statements, and ensure compliance with KSA civil codes
• Manage surveying, leveling, soil compaction tests, and concrete work
• Coordinate with electrical/mechanical teams for smooth integrated site execution
• Ensure proper drainage systems and road works inside PV/substation sites
• Conduct quality checks for rebar, formwork, concrete pours, and structural works
• Prepare civil progress reports and ensure adherence to timelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Solar PV, Substation, or similar infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of civil structural works, foundations, geotechnical requirements
• Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD, or similar software
• Strong site supervision and QA/QC skills
• English required; Arabic preferred
• Willing to work/relocate to KSA
