Job Summary

Responsible for supervising and executing all civil works related to water flow meter installation, replacement, chamber construction, pipeline modification, and associated infrastructure activities in accordance with TAQA standards, HSE regulations, approved drawings, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil works related to water flow meter installation, replacement, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate excavation, trenching, backfilling, concrete works, and reinstatement activities.
• Ensure proper construction and maintenance of meter chambers, valve chambers, and pipe supports.
• Review approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, and project specifications before execution.
• Coordinate with TAQA representatives, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams for approvals and inspections.
• Monitor pipeline alignment, flow meter foundation levels, and installation clearances.
• Ensure all works are executed as per TAQA standards, quality requirements, and HSE procedures.
• Supervise utility protection activities and ensure safe working near live water pipelines and underground services.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, and work completion reports.
• Verify material approvals and ensure proper usage of approved construction materials.
• Coordinate testing activities including hydrotest support, leakage inspection, and reinstatement approval.
• Maintain records of permits, site instructions, NCR closures, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures and authority regulations.
• Monitor manpower, equipment, and subcontractor performance to achieve project targets.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support during execution stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in water infrastructure or utility projects in UAE.
• TAQA / ADDC approved engineer or experience in TAQA-related projects preferred.
• Experience in water flow meter installation, pipeline works, and utility infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of excavation safety, utility coordination, and reinstatement procedures.
• Familiarity with TAQA standards, PTW system, HSE regulations, and QA/QC requirements.
• Ability to read civil drawings, P&IDs, and utility layouts.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• UAE Driving License preferred.

HSE Responsibilities

• Ensure all activities comply with TAQA safety standards and local authority regulations.

• Ensure proper barricading, signage, and traffic diversion during site activities.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and near misses immediately.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
