Job Openings: Civil Engineer / Civil Supervisor – Utilities & Drainage(2 Positions Open)

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, review, and optimize utilities and drainage systems—including stormwater management, sanitary sewage, potable water supply, and irrigation systems—for infrastructure projects, with focus on EMU depots and railway facilities.
- Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies; analyze soil, groundwater, and existing utility networks to inform designs and construction plans.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenFlows, SWMM, or equivalent software.
- Supervise on-site construction, inspecting installation quality, verifying compliance with design standards, and resolving technical issues in real time.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, construction managers, subcontractors, and authorities) to integrate utilities/drainage systems into the overall project design.
- Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analyses to evaluate system capacity, mitigate flood risks, and optimize stormwater management.
- Review subcontractor submittals and ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, including as-built drawings, test reports, inspection logs, and compliance certificates.
- Research and recommend sustainable engineering solutions, such as green infrastructure and rainwater harvesting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
- 3–5 years’ professional experience in utilities and drainage design, management, or construction for infrastructure projects (railway, municipal, or transportation preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley OpenFlows, SWMM, or equivalent software.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic/hydrologic principles, municipal utility codes, drainage design standards, and railway infrastructure requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic construction environment.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or in progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience on EMU depots, railway, or large-scale transit infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with BIM software (Revit, Navisworks).
- Knowledge of sustainable drainage systems (SUDS) and green infrastructure practices.
- Experience with utility relocation and coordination with public utility providers.
- Familiarity with environmental impact assessments (EIA) related to utilities and drainage works.
