Civil Engineer (with Interior Design Knowledge)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with hands-on experience in interior design, execution, and site supervision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction and interior projects — from structural work to final finishes — ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and coordination with vendors, architects, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee civil and interior work including layout, structure, finishing, and furnishing.
• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, drawings, and work schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate site execution activities with contractors, vendors, and site teams.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to safety, design, and material specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to ensure smooth workflow.
• Handle material procurement, inventory tracking, and vendor billing verification.
• Conduct site measurements, progress reporting, and client updates.
• Review AutoCAD drawings and suggest necessary modifications as per site conditions.
• Maintain project documentation including daily site reports and quality checklists.
• Assist in interior space planning, finish selection, and detailing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Diploma holders with strong experience can be considered).
• Proven experience in interior fit-out projects, residential or commercial.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
• Strong understanding of structural, plumbing, electrical, and finishing works.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under deadlines.
• Eye for detail with a good sense of aesthetics and design coordination.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or diploma in Interior Design or Project Management.
• Experience with luxury farmhouses, villas, or commercial interiors.
• Familiarity with sustainable and green building practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
