Civil Engineering Authority Liaison

Job Title: Authority Engineer (Civil Engineering) – Abu Dhabi Regulations

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Authority Engineer to oversee civil engineering projects in compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of local authority requirements, safety standards, and systems governing civil construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, approve, and ensure compliance of civil engineering designs and construction activities with Abu Dhabi regulations and authority standards.
• Act as a liaison between project teams, government authorities, and stakeholders to facilitate permitting and approval processes.
• Prepare and submit technical documentation, reports, and applications required by Abu Dhabi authorities (TAMM, MEPS, TAQA, ITC, Main developers -Masdar/Miral/Al-DAR/..-).
• Provide expert advice on compliance issues, system integration, and regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with site and engineering teams to implement standards and regulations in project planning and execution.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities for approvals and license renewals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on regulatory compliance and authority requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of Abu Dhabi construction regulations, codes, and systems , permits , TAMM, MEPS, TAQA, developer approvals, Masdar, Miral, Al-DAR.
• Proven experience in managing approvals and authority inspections.
• Strong understanding of safety standards, environmental regulations, and project management.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Professional registration/license in civil engineering is preferred.
