Civil Fit-Out Engineer

Civil Fit-Out Engineer / Draftsman (2D & 3D AutoCAD + Site Operations)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for civil, architectural, and interior fit-out projects.
• Coordinate with project engineers, architects, and subcontractors for design implementation.
• Supervise site fit-out works, ensuring execution matches approved drawings and standards.
• Conduct site surveys and measurements for accurate drawing preparation.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, layout plans, and as-built drawings.
• Review drawings for accuracy and make necessary design modifications as per site conditions.
• Assist in material take-offs, BOQs, and project documentation.
• Ensure all fit-out works comply with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Support project management in scheduling and resource allocation.
• Maintain good communication between the design and site execution teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.
• 3–8 years of experience in civil or interior fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), SketchUp, and MS Office; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
• Strong technical knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, gypsum, flooring, and partition works.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in site supervision and field coordination.

Preferred Skills:

• Creative design visualization and technical drawing accuracy.
• Understanding of MEP coordination with civil/fit-out works.
• Knowledge of construction materials and finishing standards.
