Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead labourers and contractors for structural and finishing work at site(RCC, shuttering, brickwork, plaster, and concrete execution)
- Ensure execution as per drawings, line-levels, and quality standards
- Coordinate with engineers, labour teams, and machinery operators for smooth workflow
- Enforce site discipline, safety measures, and productivity benchmarks
- Regularly report progress, labour deployment, and material requirements to the Site Engineer
- Supervise and oversee construction activities on-site, including coordination with labour crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure that work is completed according to design requirements and quality standards.
- Allocate resources, materials, and equipment effectively to maximize productivity and minimize downtime; coordinate with project managers and procurement teams as needed.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations and practices by conducting regular safety inspections and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Train and mentor construction workers and apprentices, providing guidance, support, and feedback to enhance their performance and skills.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve issues, ensure alignment, and meet project goals.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of work progress, materials usage, and equipment maintenance. Prepare daily reports and logs as required.
- Participate in project planning meetings and provide input and feedback on scheduling, resource allocation, and methodologies.
- Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.
- Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and adapt to weather, supply, delivery, and personnel changes.
- Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably.
- Ensure completion of works from in-house labour and vendors in accordance with quality requirementsSkills & Requirements:
- ITI / Diploma in Civil Engineering OR 10+ years of practical experience in civil site supervision
- Proficiency in RCC, shuttering, brickwork, plaster, and concrete execution
- Ability to interpret basic civil drawings and provide layout instructions
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Prior experience in high-rise buildings, residential complexes, commercial projects, and villas preferred
