Civil Works & HSE Maintenance Officer

Assist in
BOQ preparation, designing, and development
of civil and renovation projects.

Support in
hiring, coordination, and supervision
of civil and finishing contractors.

Monitor and manage on-site execution
, ensuring quality, quantity, and timely completion of works.

Conduct
daily site inspections
, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
-
Handle
procurement of materials
, conduct market surveys, and negotiate with vendors for cost-effective solutions.
-
Verify
contractor bills
with proper documentation and work verification.
-
Maintain proper records for all
repair and maintenance activities
, including work orders, inspection reports, and material usage logs.
B. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Responsibilities
-
Ensure
strict compliance with HSE standards
during all civil and maintenance activities.
-
Implement and monitor
site safety procedures
, including risk assessments and safe work practices.
-
Coordinate with the
HSE department
for training and awareness sessions for contractors and staff.
-
Ensure
personal protective equipment (PPE)
usage and monitor adherence to safety protocols.
-
Assist in
emergency preparedness
and site evacuation planning.
Qualifications & Skills
-
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree
in Civil Engineering or a related field.
-
3–5 years of relevant experience
in civil maintenance, construction supervision, or facility management.
-
Certification in IOSH or NEBOSH
will be considered a strong plus.

Proven knowledge of
HSE standards, risk assessment, and site safety protocols.
-
Proficiency in
MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
and reporting tools.

Working knowledge of
AutoCAD (2D/3D)
for layout reading and minor design modifications is plus.
-
Basic understanding of
MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)
systems.

Strong
communication, negotiation, and leadership
skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth coordination between contractors and management.
