Job Description – Civil Inspector (Dry Utilities)

Location: UAE

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Civil Inspector – Dry Utilities to support infrastructure, roads, and bridges projects. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge in dry utility networks, including telecom, electrical, street lighting, ITS, and related civil works, and should have prior experience working on projects with RTA and ADM. The role ensures that all site activities comply with project specifications, standards, client requirements, and quality/safety procedures.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Inspection & Supervision

• Conduct daily site inspections for all dry utility works such as electrical ducts, telecom networks, manholes, chambers, and LV/HV infrastructure.
• Monitor civil works associated with roads, bridges, underpasses, and corridors to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Verify that installations comply with RTA/ADM standards, regulations, and project guidelines.

Technical & Quality Compliance

• Review and monitor contractor’s method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and work procedures.
• Identify non-conformances and prepare NCRs, SORs, and site observations as required.
• Ensure proper implementation of QA/QC requirements on site.

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and client representatives for smooth project execution.
• Prepare daily/weekly site reports including progress updates, inspection results, and safety observations.
• Assist in resolving technical issues, discrepancies, and field adjustments.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Ensure all activities adhere to HSE policies and site safety regulations.
• Report any unsafe conditions and support in promoting safety culture at site.

Mandatory Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in civil inspection within infrastructure and roadway projects.
• Strong experience in Dry Utility.
• Ability to work in fast-paced project environments with multiple stakeholders.

The offered salary for this role is 7000 to 8500 AED
