Civil Inspector – Mid- Level

SITE MANAGEMENT & DELIVERABLES – CONSTRUCTION STAGE

· Inspect construction site and record the execution of work; monitor progress against agreed program.

· Ensure all civil and utilities work is in accordance with the contract

· Conduct site inspections when required by the Resident Engineer (RE).

· Inspect work in progress for conformance to specifications, approved drawings and method statements

· Coordinate with the client and contractor; liaise with other authorities

· Ensure executions of the works are complying with local health, safety and risk regulations.

· Assist in reviewing shop drawings and review of “as-built” drawings

· Prepare site measurement and surveying checks required by the RE

· Ensure documents and records are fully up to date and a trail of updates is maintained

TECHNICAL AND QA/QC

· Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by directing or coordinating installation, manufacturing, construction, maintenance, documentation, support or testing activities.

· Coordinates on time reviews and comments on the materials and samples (when required).

· Apply and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for the site

· Monitors project quality performance and takes appropriate corrective action and to report infringements, problems and any unusual observations to immediate superior.

Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
